THE PERSON BEHIND THE WORLDS
AKEEL LOUISON
My name is Akeel Louison, and long before I considered myself a writer, I was a child imagining worlds beyond my own.
Born in Guyana, I began writing at nine, inspired by nature, history, fantasy, horror, and the world around me. At fifteen,
I moved to New York, where loneliness gave my writing deeper meaning and inspired “The Black Rose,” which later became the heart behind BlackRoseArchive. Over time, writing became more than an escape; it became a way to create entire worlds. Today, this archive is home to my poetry, stories, and imagination. Everything you find here began somewhere within me.
BlackRoseArchive is not just a collection of stories. It is a place where ideas become worlds.

POETRY
Words That Reveal The Unspoken
These poems were written across different stages of my life, from my teenage years into adulthood. Each one holds a thought, an emotion, or a moment that I chose to put into words. Some came from experience, while others grew from imagination and observation. Together, they tell the story of a young writer slowly finding his voice.
